In the comments section I posed a lengthy comment that approaches his question at an oblique angle. I think you’ll find that this is going to be a provocative and stimulating thread. I hope that it will motivate you to examine some of your own assumptions about Maxwell’s real interest: Seeing churches get bigger. Although his post is about personal growth the underlying premises are much the same when he speaks about church growth.
